Sonya Foreman DipPFS

Sonya is Head of Paraplanning at Burlington Financial Solutions and brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Starting her career as an office junior, she has worked across a wide range of administrative and technical roles before moving into paraplanning in 2012. That breadth of experience gives her a deep understanding of the advice process and the high standards our clients expect.

Sonya holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) G60 in Pensions, an area in which she is particularly skilled and experienced. Her technical knowledge, especially in pensions, is a key asset to both the Burlington team and the clients we serve.

In her role, Sonya works closely with the advisers to support financial planning research, undertake detailed analysis, and prepare high-quality suitability reports. Her professionalism, accuracy, and commitment to getting things right underpin the quality of advice we deliver.

Outside of work, Sonya is very much a family and friends person. She has two adult children and a dog who keeps her on her toes. Away from her desk, she enjoys knitting, reading, and walking, with or without the dog, and has recently developed an interest in photography.
